About CJ Scarlet

When CJ Scarlet was told in 2002 that her long-term condition had become life-threatening, her world came to a screeching halt.  She spent an entire year consumed by her illness, grief and fear, until a spiritual master told her to turn her attention away from her own troubles and focus on the needs of others.

The more CJ helped others, the happier she became; and the happier she became, the better she felt, until her illness began to reverse itself.  Today, CJ can once again do cartwheels, and she is happier than she ever dreamed.  By cherishing others more than herself, she has found the secret to both happiness and healing.

When her spiritual teacher told her to write books to help others learn those secrets,CJ sat down and wrote the basis of Neptune’s Gift in one 24-hour period.  CJ has completed another book entitled, “The Paradox Principles”, which expands on the lessons CJ learned from her teacher and her illness, and will be published in late 2007.  A third book about the healing prayer technique that transformed her illness into healing and happiness will be released in 2008.

To help teach others the secret she learned to happiness-”to get what you want, give it away”–CJ founded the One Million Kisses Project. OMK is CJ Scarlet’s ambitious attempt to make one million people happy in one year. KISS stands for Kindness is So Simple, and the point of the project is to teach others how very simple it is to spread kindness, gratitude and generosity to others. The main component of the campaign will be the 365 random acts of kindness CJ will perform, starting on Nov. 13, World Kindness Day. Our team, which went from zero to eight in the past two weeks, will utilize all the latest web 2.0 technologies to create a whole community of Kindness Bandits who will follow CJ’s lead and perfrom acts of kindness in their own communities. In late October CJ will attend the National Publicity Summit, where she will get to pitch the project, her story and her book to over 100 TV producers and magazine editors. The OMK team expects to have a HUGE media response to the project all the way through the year. We working on a website (www.onemillionkissesproject.org — not up just yet!) where folks can create thier own user profiles, follow CJ’s activities on my online and video blogs, tune in to het Internet radio station, sign up to become a Kindness Bandit, and much more. We hope you’ll stay tuned and join our little community once we get it online.

  2. I’ve been working on your project for a long time now, and didn’t even know it! My dentist’s office gives a rose to each patient as they leave after their appointment, and I pass mine on to someone in a fast-food drive-through, or a waitress, or someone else I encounter randomly. I also have written a poem about working in thankless jobs, and I give copies of it to random people, too, such as store shelf-stockers, custodians, etc. If anyone else would like to use it, please just let me know and I will send it to you!

    Love you bunches, sis
